Politics is based on the reality of men feeling most comfortable following and that they'll happily take the course of least disruptive change. It requires less thinking and less effort. - Taken from somewhere I read a long time ago.

It does ring true to some extent. These days, it seems like the young are apathetic to the political happenings around them. The older ones are more aware of it but they are also the ones who are easily influenced by the many propagandas done by the various parties. I havent been religiously keeping track of the political ongoings so if you guys have anything to add, please do and update me at the same time. It seems that the atmosphere for every election gets more and more intensed. You know, its really hard to contest against the PAP. They are the government and the law and they have the power to do what they want. Of course, politics is never fair but it sucks when one side is getting a major upper-hand in the whole thing (in general). Political fighting is so tedious and stressful, every single dirt in your life, past and present, gets dug up and thrown in your face to bring you down. Having good people is not enough, they lack the means and the power. But because they are so brave to stand up there to contest, we shall give them a round of applause.
