Its good to go retrospective sometimes, but more often than not it comes with the realization and regret that if you had think in prospect then, things might have turn out differently (for the better). It sure takes hard experiences to mature. Time does have the ability to heal but it does not allow one to forget. It fades the memories, but then again memories always seem to find a way to reopen old wounds in time. We're living the present, stuck in the past and dreaming of the future. Caught between the dichotomy of past and present, every step forward is like a drag. Sometimes we are so subconsciously stubborn or unconsciously guilty of making the same mistakes over and over again. We look at others, shake our heads and wonder at their stupidity when all we're looking at is a mirror. Once bitten twice shy, but why is it that some people never seem to learn from their mistakes. What is it that im not learning. Is it just me or are humans constructed that way. So naive, ignorant, foolishly gullible and trusting. I need to rethink on my philosophies in life. Maybe I just have bad karma. God bless.
